We adopted Sammy the cat from the Humane Society. He was one of 26 cats the Humane Society took in from a hoarder. It was love at first sight. He was so gentle and sweet and loved to snuggle. We always joked that he was part dog because the second he heard the front door opening, he was there welcoming you home. He would sleep next to me at night, and would sit on my husband’s legs while we watched TV. He was an angel from heaven and is truly missed.
