Bella came to us as a 5.5 month old puppy. She was challenging to say the least but putting her in school and her learning so much made her the best dog I’ve ever owned. Oh how I love her. I miss her everyday. She left us after a valiant fight with lung cancer on April 19, 2025 at only 7 years young. She didn’t want to leave the family that adored her and that she loved but her body just couldn’t fight this battle any longer. If you were to look up the “best dog ever”, her picture would be right there. She was a genuine loving faithful friend. We had a bond so strong. She was protective of her family and gentle with friends who came to visit. Even though she got the rap for being a German shepherd and looking intimidating her heart was pure gold. I’ll never find another friend like her. She loved her cats and if they fought she’d make sure they stopped. She loved her kids, her yard, her walks, hikes, bed, playing ball, and lots of treats. She was the best of the best. Fly high my sweet sweet faithful friend. Thank you for getting me through the hardest of times. You’re sorely missed. Thank you to Dr. Nancy for giving her more months and her family more moments than we ever could have expected. Rest in peace sweet angel. We’ll see each other again someday.
