Sweet little Stevie was a feral kitten with challenges. In 2013 I lost my mom and my dog of 17yrs. I was in process of TNR and scooped up tiny kittens Stevie and her brother & 2 sisters. Stevie was born missing an eye and the other eye didn’t look so good. This her name after my favorite singer Stevie Wonder. We bonded instantly. Thankfully she could see out of her other eye and was very skillful catching bugs, toys, and even a chipmunk or two! Stevie was always unafraid of other pets, or humans that came into our home, a greeter to all. Always looking for a snuggle or a scratch under the chin, and resting on my shoulder listening to her purr. Our favorite way to watch tv. I miss her sweet snuggles, purring, and her sassy bobtail swishing. When my husband passed, she became my nightly snuggle buddy, always next to my head, purring lulling me to sleep.

This goodbye is breaking me, but I know you needed peace. You’ve been my shadow, my warmth, my silent healer. I pray you felt how much you were and are loved everyday. Miss you Sweet Stevie girl.
