Chloe
John W
I went to the Helena humane society after losing have good dog friend. I remember looking at all the dogs and they were all in their little spots barking wildly as I passed by… I came around the corner and there was “Chloe” in her spot at the shelter. She was not barking, just laying down, layed back, looked at me and finished smoking her cigarette. She didn’t seem to have a care in the world. I immediately thought that she needed to be mine and soon she was.
She was a great dog. She loved people and kids and going for walks. Never barked, unless there was a deer threatening the front yard. She was not motivated by food either.
Her one vice was that she loved to run (off). Often when she was running away from me, she would look back and stick her tongue out and go “nah nah nah na nah nah!” She had the uncanny ability to either climb or jump any fence. I was never able to make my yard Chloe escape proof until she was old. By far of the prettiest dog and sweetest dog I’ve ever owned. She is greatly missed.
